Theres this guy who i really really like alot he asked me out on a date to the movies and we went out then went back to his house and we kissed you know the basic foreplay but before this he said to me "i wanna have a little chat with you" he told me i was to shy,quiet. then less than an hour later we're kissing and all i dont know what we are..what are we

You're flirting and dating right now, but you're not in a relationship. That only happens after hours of talking and friendship that grows into romantic friendship that then grows into a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. One night of kissing doesn't do it.
Hold off and see how things go. Does he call you? Does he write you notes? Does he show you off to his friends? Does he flirt with you and ask you to hang with him? Those things will show that he's interested in you and that you can get further along with him.
He's said you're too shy and quiet, which means he would welcome more from you, so take the first step yourself and ask him on a date. Talk more, ask him more about himself, find out what makes him tick and what he likes and doesn't like. Most people love to talk about themselves, so get him rolling and let him carry the conversation.
