The First Time when Older

I am in a loving relationship but have never had sex. We both want to but I am scared that it will hurt. Will the fact that my age make it harder? I am 30 and a virgin. I want to know more about the physical changes that happen when a woman has sex for the first time. I would like some advice on how to make it easier/less painful/how to relax my internal muscles for the first time.

It's really not the muscles that hurt on the first time. It's the hymen, which if anything is probably broken on you already because of all the years you've had being an active adult. I really wouldn't worry about it too much - if anything your being nervous and tense will make you tighten up. Take a long hot bath, get a long massage, and make the whole thing as relaxing as possible. That will be the key.
