Boys and Girls Going To a Movie

i'm a freshman in high school, and i play bass for a choir at my school. a couple of months ago, there was a big jazz festival that lasted from 6 am till midnight, so it was pretty long. on the way to the festival, i started talking to this girl, and we talked for a lot of the day, and i really think that i like her, and from the way we talked i have a feeling she likes me. I know that was only a day, but after a couple of months, we still talk a lot and have a lot of fun together. The only problem is that she is a sophmore, and i'm not sure if she has a boyfriend. I don't know how to ask her if she has a boyfriend without sounding like i'm asking her out and I really want to ask her out to a movie or something, but i need to know if she has a boyfriend. How do i ask her? please help!!

Friends go to movies all the time! I go to a ton of movies with my friends. Just find another friend to go too and then say "I was going to go to a movie with Jim, would you like to come along too?" If she says yes, then that's great. You need to start somewhere.
