My boyfriend after 3 years still insists on seeing his ex girlfiend for dinner and talking on the phone from time to time. This hurts me very much because he knows it bothers me and yet he still does it. He says I don't trust him. I just tell him love is earned not just given. Is there some way I can deal with this? And is he asking way to much of trust and me?

Even though I put this under jealousy issues, I did so to show that it is not. Within a certain context, your feelings are valid.

Hey, this is not high school. If he can't respect your feelings then he's acting like a child. Of course I'm saying this assuming that you already asked him to curtail his activities or clarify that they are friends now. If not, then maybe you should get some perspective on the situation. If you have, the best way to deal with it is not to deal with it as in saying goodbye. Insensitivity is not an attractive quality.
