I Caught him Chatting with Another Woman

I met this guy and we have been dating for 5 months. We have a very strong attraction to eachother and in fact he is the only man that I have had a sexual realtionship with.
Recently he left his e-mail open and I made the mistake of reading it and there was a message from another girl on an internet dating site. They had never met but had been chatting since around November when we were just causually dating. When I confronted him he said it meant nothing to him, she was crazy and just kept e-mailing him and that he's only dating me.
I assumed he was in our relationship just for sex and accused him of that but he said I'm the first person he's slept with in over a year and if he wanted to use someone for sex it wouldn't be someone like me. When I told him I didn't think I could see him anymore he just said he can't do anything about it.
I'm finding it really hard to get over the relationship and the worse part is that I still want to have sex with him. How can I get over this situation? Should I try to work on the relationship?

If he's been chatting with other women this whole time and not telling you about it, that's not a great sign at all. The most important thing you can have in any relationship is trust. He may not be using you for sex - but he's not treating you like a girlfriend either.
I would take a break from him for a while. You should never be with someone just for sex!! I have a ton of tips on the site about dealing with a breakup.
