My Boyfriend Treats Me Awfully

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
Hello my boyfriend and I are together for the past 2 years, he is a real nice guy. Very gentle and caring.

But for the last 3 months things have been rough. Like he was going away with his friends for the weekend, he made plans all week and did not bother to tell me until he was ready to leave. He had his Christmas party and he did not invite me. He even went clubbing after and did not invite me. I am really stressed and I have no idea why he is acting this way.

When I confront him with some issues he just put me off and say he dont want to talk about it. I need help. He said he has alot of time to find the right person, He said he is not the guy I am looking for. After all that he had the nerve to tell me he went to a club picking up girls.

I really want to save the relationship but at the same time I am not sure if its worth it.

I'm surprised you are still calling this guy your boyfriend! He is very clearly treating you like dirt and he doesn't even have the decency to talk to you when you point it out. He doesn't want to talk about it? Why can't he just TELL you like a mature human being if he decided not to date you any more! He tells you to your face that he is out picking up girls? But he never bothered to actually break up with you first?

This guy is obviously beyond hope and is full bore into being a single man. Not only that but he is a jerk that had no concern at all for your feelings when he decided to "get loose" of the relationship.

There isn't anything there to save - you are very much better off not having to worry what he is planning on doing to you next. Yes, it's painful to break up even with someone as nasty as this guy. I have lots of tips on breaking up here -

Give yourself time to recover - and I am positive you will find someone MUCH better than him when you are ready to date again. Someone who treats you with the respect you deserve.
