Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
my girlfriend of about 3 months had some sort of wierd spiritual experience, all she will tell me is that she felt like she died, but her mind told her to keep on living, and then she woke up, and now she is like "why am i even alive now?" which i understand is very serious, but when i ask her to tell me more, she just says that she cant explain it.
how can i get her to open up to me a little so i can help her through this??

People have ALL sorts of spiritual events in their life, and can feel profoundly affected by them. A key part of being a couple is to be able to talk about things even when they are hard, not to brush the other person off. So even though this feels hard to her to describe, she has to try!
Especially if she is feeling depressed, she should talk not only to you but also to a parent, minister, therapist or someone else that can help her with this. To just 'hide' as a result is very unhealthy. She needs to talk about it.
