She has a boyfriend
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I am 18
She has a boyfriend. I was hoping to get an opinion on whether she likes me or not.
EVIDENCE: We are really close. WE have never fought or even been mad at each other (we've known each other for four years). We share everything from secrets to food. We can take a bite or a drink right off where the other person has just had their lips(we don't wipe each others germs off.) We can even share chap stick. WE hug at least twice daily.( at least hello and good-bye). We share the same interests and conversation is never forced. She laughs at my jokes ALL the time (even when no one else does because i know the joke is stupid). She says that things are funnier when i say them than when someone else says them. She goes out of her way to be near me or say hi to me and she oftengives me compliments. The most abstract thing is how i told her i wanted to join the army or become a fire fighter and she said she didnt want me to because she doesnt want me to die. When i asked what if another close male friend of ours wanted to be those careers, she said she was okay with that.
I am open to all opinions. Maybe there are other clues i can be looking for. I know im young, and maybe its naive to say, but i think i love this girl. However, i do not want that to interfer with receiving a truthful answer. Your opinion?
She clearly likes you a lot. But she has a boyfriend.
Have a long, close talk with her asking her what she would say if you told her that you were "developing feelings" for her. But that you didn't want to interfere with her relationship with her boyfriend.
You don't want to make a cheater out of her, but you do owe it to her to let her know your feelings about her.
Good luck! George
