Taking a Break

Visitor's Question from a 41-50 year old Female
I have been with my wonderful boyfriend of almost a year now and love him deeply, but recently family issues have started driving us apart. We have argued more and spent less time together. My question is should I support him through these rough times or take a break and let him handle the issues he needs to deal with. I don't want him to think that I am leaving him for good. I want him to know that I will be here for him when things calm down. Right now I feel like I am one more problem he has to deal with.
