I'm so jealous it's jeopardizing the relationship

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I'm currently in a relationship with a girl. We've been together for the past 2 years and I love her very much. She's my first girlfriend and in my opinion the last. I spent a few years running after her until she fell in love with me as well. We've been very happy and had no problems at all for the first year and a half. I tell her every day I love her and think she is the most fantastic person in the world. However after the year and a half she cheated on me, once and very briefly. But it was enough to flare up my jealousy(I'm already quite jealous so this made it worse). Ever since I've been very jealous of everything she does. Everyone she talks to. I feel I haven't fully dealt with the first time she cheated on me and this is leading me to be very fearful of a repeat scenario. Very small things make me sad, so she asks what's wrong and I have to admit that I'm jealous again. She then talks to me and I feel better until ofcourse the next small thing occurs(small things can be even her sending text messages to others). I'm afraid that my constant whining on the matter is damaging our relationship and leading to an ultimate break-up if I can't deal with my jealousy.
Thank you for any advice you may have on solving my problem.
