Could my boyfriend still like his ex?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half and we are now engaged. Recently I asked for advice but forgot to mention something else and so I nee you guys to please help me with this doubt.
I'm jealous of my boyfriends ex. I hate her. Her and my boyfriend broke-up supposively a month before him and I met because she caught him cheating on her. After that they continued to date and have sex for like a month but then mutually decided to break-up because things were not working out. But the day they broke-up he masturbate her because she asked him. Then they remained friends but soon after we started dating the friendship ended because she still felt some resentment. So they dont even say hi to each other.
We frequent the same club as her on weekends so everytime I see her I get angry and jealous of her because I wonder if they still like each other. He tells me he loves me and that he wants to marry me. That the past is the past and he will never cheat on me like he did with her because he loves me and he is more mature now. I love him too but how can I now if he is being honest? How can I know that he is saying the truth when he says he dosent like her anymore? Please give me some advice!
