DO I BELIEVE HIM? IF SO HOW?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years.Last week I took his phone to download a picture I had sent him over text message and I noticed a very inappropriate text from another female regarding his penis. He has responded to her with a very flirtatious text and I confronted him about it. he said nothing happened, he has only known her for a couple of months he just sent her a picture of "it". He deleted her number and said he would never speak to her again. I want to believe him that nothing happened, however its so hard and i don't know how to put it past me.. please help!

It's only been a week... give it time.

You really have no choice but to believe him. So why not get it over and decide he is telling the truth? Say to yourself "I trust him." He obviously made a mistake and has agreed to never call her again. By the way, he may call her one last time to explain why he won't be calling her. This is only normal and will help get her off his mind.

Don't expect miracles. This will take some time for you to get over but you will.
