Making Progress and He's Catching On!!!

Well, it's me again, the one that wrote "If he likes me then...". Since then, I have been using every chance I get to let him know and drop hints. The main strategy I used was eye contact, since we are in different classes.
We were in an assembly, watching a play (last week). He was across the aisle and our eyes met. He kept looking at me, even though I looked away (I could see from the corner of my eye.). Throughout the whole play, I kept looking back and forth. Also, as we left the building, I think I saw him staring at me!
Also, like, about a month ago, he was leaving basketball practice and walked by me and my friends. he said "Bye" to them and addressed them with their names. When he said "Bye" to me, he said, "Bye, um--um--uhh...[my name]!" I replied sarcastically, "Yeah. Real nice!" Then it seemed as if he felt that he messed up REALLY bad because then he said, "Sorry! I forgot!"
A week later, he broke his leg and had to get home, so he did a piggy-back ride on his older brother and was smiling a BIG smile my way. I was with a friend, but he has told me that he doesn't like her, and by the look of his face and the sound of his voice, I could tell that he was honestly telling the truth.
Then today, I was talking to my basketball teammates (He plays basketball, too, but we're on different teams.). He walked by to eat breakfast. On his way back to his classroom, me and my friends were trying to see if we could do a fake slap. So he walks along and makes his way to us, but mostly towards me, so that he was standing right next to me. He said to my teammate,"You did it wrong! You slapped her!" (My teammate didn't slap me, it was my other teammate.)
Then later (still today), we had a fire drill where we all line up in our classes. He was staring at me the entire time!
I think that he was making an excuse to get close to me, today when I was talking to my friends, do you? Do you think that I have made progress? All my friends and my best friend think that he REALLY likes me, too!

Yes he definitely likes you. He is showing all the signs of it.
You should take advantage of how he feels to get closer to him and flirt some more. At some point you could invite him out to a movie or something.
