Getting my parents off my backVisitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Ok I am 14 and my bf is 17 we have been going out for six weeks 2day and we have been spending a lot of time together if we are not together we are talking on the phone we have not thought about sex i mean it has came up but we have agreed that we are not going to do anything till i turn 16. But we have kissed and made out alot. But my parents do not trust me at all and I dont think they really should even though me and him are not going to do anything till i turn 16 but it is stuff i dont tell them we fight every night and after that i have started drinkin and smoking a lot because of it and it has kept me from killing myself but the question is we have been going on something kind of like dates but we have to have a shaperon and i am just wondering how do i ask them if we can go without anyone else just me and him. They agree with me and him going together because I asked them that but we have been fighting ALOT here latly and I never talk to them cause if i did they would find out that i smoke and drink that would not be good if they found out but How would i talk to them about just me and him going out on a date just the two of us? Without getting in a fight?
First off, we do not offer advice to people threatening to kill themself.
You should tell your parents, a school counselor, a medical professional, or a police officer.
It won't be long until they find out you are drinking and smoking... both activities leave you smelling of smoke and booze. So be prepared for that or quit doing it.
Your parents don't want to you to go out without a chaperone and you want to.
Best you can hope for is a compromise that you will wait until you are 15. But if they catch you drinking they will probably make you wait until 16.
Good luck! George
