Am I just creating the possiblility or does he really like me?
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
This week we went on a school trip where we went backpacking and camping. The guy I like was put in my group and his actions have gotten confusing. We always high-five and hug eachother at school but this week he seemed to show a few signs of liking me. What do you think:
-He was singing throughout the trip but he seemed to sing and whistle a little more when he was next to me.
-We stood next to eachother a lot (pretty close), but then when I went and stood next to him, sometimes he'd move and sometimes he wouldn't
-We had a bunch of really good conversations and some really good laughs but then other times he seemed a little preocupied and quiet whenever I came near.
-Even after his on/off what seemed to be like flirting he gave me this really amazing long tight hug on the last night of the trip.
-Whenever there are other people around he seems to try not to notice me. I think it may be peer pressure or something...
Do you have any advice? Any idea of what's happening? One moment he's right there with me and then next he's desprately far away. He's really pretty deep and seems to be swimming in his thoughts a lot but it only seems to show when it's late or early in the day or if he's just one-on-one with someone. I just need someone else to take a look so it's not just my mind making things up...

But, he is shy at times and can't express himself around you.
