Her parents are strict

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I know a girl that likes me and i like her back. She has strict parents so we dont go out much on Friday/Saturday nights. Do you have any suggestions on where to taker her on a date during the day time? I know going to the movies or the mall seems like a good idea but i dont want to take her to the same places all the time.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Remember that she is part of your relationship. Ask her where she would like to go.

Here are some ideas: go for a walk or picnic, find some water and sit by it and talk or maybe rent a canoe, go bowling, go to sporting events (school competitions, for example), throw a frisbee around, shoot some hoops, go to a flower show. Look in your local paper for activities--there may be a lot of things to do that you wouldn't think of. Ask your friends what they are doing and go with them or do the same thing, hang out. Ask your parents to keep an eye out for things to do. Join a church youth group because they do lots of things in the afternoon and early evening and her parents would be more willing to let you go out with a church group--and they can be loads of fun. Pick apples and make a pie, make chocolate chip cookies. Wash a car by hand. Rake leaves, work in the yard. Volunteer to help out an elderly neighbor or relative. Put up a volleyball net and invite friends over for co-ed VB. Ask your parents to let you have a 5 o'clock barbeque for friends and family (after playing volleyball, maybe).

Good luck! George
