hey...theres this girl i knew from a while back and weve been friends for a long time but now weve both stated that we really like eachother more than friends ...well i was forced to leave for rhode island for two weeks nd when i came back she was all over another man nd they kiss in front of me but they wont go out.....i feel like shes thrown me away nd lied to me nd i really liked her.....i was about to ask her out until i saw her for three days with the other man...now she has her birthday party coming up but going to it would kill me inside....should i try to explain how i feel though or should i ignore wut goes on like i dont care nd not go to the party because i kno that eventually the guy will leave because he is shallow and i might have a new chance???

My advice is to tell her how you feel and explain that is the reason you won't be attending her birthday party.

This will get the truth out in the open so there is no confusion and she might try to convince you to come anyhow...in which case you should go.
