Does he really care enough about this relationship as much as i do?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Hi, my name Is A* and i am 16. My boyfriends name is T* and is 16 also. He lives about 40 minutes away and we've known each other for about 6 years. This whole relationship thing has been going on the whole time. During the 6 years we talked about getting together but it never happened. It finally happened on July 4. He asked me out, so i said yes so we could see if it would really work. I havent seen how he acts towards his ex's but we dont talk that much on the phone or see each other as much as I have in the past when I was with someoen else. He has a job and so do I so I understand how that is during the week. But on weekends it seems like hes too busy or just doesnt want to hang out. PLEASE HELP!!! I need advice. I want this relationship to last, but i know he has to want to too.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Think of interesting things to do on the weekend.

Things like a walk or a picnic, movies or bowling, sports or concerts.

Maybe he is just a kind of person who doesn't find hanging out appealing. Spark his imagination so he will look forward to the visit.

If he is doing the driving, offer to split the cost of gas since it is so expensive nowadays.

If nothing works, explain to him that it is important to you to do something on the weekend... not every weekend... and find out why he is reluctant.

Good luck! George
