he's too short!

i like my best guy-friend as more than a friend and i know he likes me back. unfortunately, although we're the same age, he is shorter than me and this makes it awkward to hug him. we haven't kissed yet but i know it would be easier if he was taller, or if i was shorter. i wear the thinnest shoes that i have when i see him, but it doesn't help much. what should i do? if i hug him, his face goes straight into my boobs.... HELP PLEASE!!!

It is quite usual for girls your age to be taller than boys your age.

Not a lot you can do about it now. Go ahead with the hugging and don't worry about it. Kissing you will probably do sitting down and it is easier to stretch your bodies into the right position then.
