High School Sweetheart still lingering on after 2 years
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female Me and my ex dated for 9 months while we were in high school. Things were amazing, he was my best friend in the entire world, it was almost like whatever went wrong never showed itself. After almost 3 years we both contact eachother every once in a while, and it always ends up being the whole i miss you and i love you, i need you type of conversation. I've been trying to get over him for the past 3 years, but nothing will change. I have moved since we have dated, but will be going back there for college and we've talked about getting back together, my problem is how do i move on from the past, and start on a new foot after we had such a long, intimate relationship in the past, how do i just start over? Or do I even start over?
