should i try?

hi again. well, i'm getting better about hugging her, and she is finally opening up completely 2 me. but now i want to try 2 take it just a little bit further, though i don't know if i should do it. and her birthday is comming up next week. so i have 2 questions
1- should i try 2 kiss her when i see her after school (like if i see her after school and say goodbye to her, should i like kiss her on the cheek or a short kiss on the lips?)?(and if yes, which 1 seems more. . . appropriate, a kiss on the cheek, or lips if i say goodbye to her after school?)
2- i want 2 do something special for her on her birthday, i mean i have gotten her a necklace and a nice card, but do you think i should try anything else?
