I am interested in a girl and i have been told she is interested in me. Have been to lunch once or twice and spoke a few times on the phone but most of the time it is over messages on the phone. I have asked her a few time more to lunch or dinner and she has agreed but at the last minute something comes up and can`t make it.
i feel i may be putting too much presure on. She is a shy girl with a low self confidence, and i am the same when it comes to meeting girls. But i really like her and want to get to know her better, what is the best thing to do?

I would talk with her more face to face. It does sound like she's shy and if most of your conversation has been messages on the phone, that doesn't built up any sort of trust. The more you can talk with her face to face, the more she will learn to know and trust you. While text messages are nice, they are NO substitute for real contact. After a few face to face chats, invite her along to lunch again and I bet she'll show up.
