Hi,
I need to break it off with this very clingy and desperate man. I have only dated him 4 times and the guy is talking about me moving to his state and seems to think we are an item, although I haven't given him any reason to think that. He is 48 years old and obviously a little desperate, but he is nice and don't know how to do it since just ignoring him hasn't done the trick. Any quick advice is greatly appreciated as he is just grossing me out! Thanks...

Simply tell him you aren't at the same point as he is in your relationship.

Tell him that moving to his town is not a reasonable thing to be thinking of. Say that you are hesitant to continue your relationship because you don't feel the same way he feels about you. This will be kinder than letting him go on thinking about being together.
