I dont know what to do

I have a bf and we argue a lot... its never gotten to the point of insulting each other... of course there's swearing and all that but nothing personal... We argue so much that sometimes i feel like running away because its just too much too handle... especially because im very sensitive.... VERY!!
He always thinks he's right. he wont let me explain things or tell him what i think... and to prove me wrong he always has to bring things from the past that arent good to remember because they affected our relationship and i think he should let go of those bad things insead of holdin them to prove his right and im wrong.
I've walked away from him a couple of times.. cuz i think sometimes its better to take a time off and think... but he gets mad at me and takes it personal... usually when we fight its because of something he does... and i dont tell him that because i dont wanna hurt him... but he knows it... and puts himself down to make me feel sorry and fix things... or sometimes says things like "im not good enough for u" it kinda scares me cuz thats not what i want to hear after all... how do i talk to him about it? I dont know what to do... and its affecting our relationship a lot because im running out of patience...and i guess he wants be to be there for him trying and trying to make it work out... im just gettin tired.

If he is a normal, intelligent person he will modify his behavior to get along better with you.
