I've done everything in this world to make this girl (right now my best friend) realize that I want to be a bigger part of her life and lately I'm starting to hang out with her alone witch doesn't happen ever since her twin sister is always with her (not that there's anything wrong with that) and we even went to lunch together and she even went out to meet my mom and all that good stuff. Everything seem to show she cares but how much? When I first asked her out she said she was iffy and all that junk... what I want to know is how can I ask out the love of my life without messing things up? I love her but I'm scared to lose her as my friend

She probably is intuitive enough to already know that you like her a lot.

Go out for dinner and after wine tell her you are "developing feelings" for her and you wonder how she feels. If she's not sure tell her you will ask her again soon. And then do just that. Ask her the next day or the day after. She will have had plenty of time to think it over.
