Does he like me or my friend?

There's this guy that is a year older than me that is in mine and my best friend's gym class. My friend and I have talked to him online quite a few times and even seen him in the hallways.But he claims he likes my friends but people say he flirts with me and not my friend. He'll come up to me in the hallway and tap me on the shoulder,touch my arm, pull me by my backpack, and punch me lightly in the arm just for me to realize he's there and say hi. On the computer, if I don't tell him something he'll do the "I love you, please tell me" thing.
The only thing he will pretty much say to my friend is "you're hott" and that's it.
So does he like me or is it just a friendship sorta thing?
