Rebound or not...
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
There is this guy that I have been friends with for about 4 yrs. We're in college and I had the feeling that he liked me the first year but then he had a girlfriend. Recently they broke up from a 3 yr relationship and he has suddenly been spending more time with me like calling me and texting me all the time. He and his ex never seemed like they got along. They were very quiet and didn't even hold hands in public. All our friends thought it was odd. Anyway, he invited me to go to out several times, as friends, I assumed. I don't know if this is him getting closer to me or if he's just being friendlier than usual. It's very confusing. It seems as if now he feels free to talk to me more than before or he just has more time for friends. HELP!

The fact that he is contacting you and asking you out sends a pretty strong signal that he cares about you.
Keep on doing what you are doing and see what develops. It may be a rebound, but at this point who could tell?
