How do we break the news to my family?

I've been going out with a friend of my sisters for a few weeks now. We wanted to see what would happen between us before we told my sister, but things are going really well, and I'm crazy about this woman. I'm just not sure how to tell my family.
To be honest my families approval wont change how I feel about this young woman, but it would be a whole lot easier if they accepted it. We are both really worried how my sister is going to take the news, but we both hate having to sneak around.
Any advice on the best way to tell my family?

Maybe you could tell your mother first.
Tell her you worry about what your sister is going to say and ask for advice. This, hopefully, will get your mother on your side and the rest should work out ok.
