Ok, my girlfriend and i have been dating for about a year and 8 months. She has this old friend whom she had never talked to. Well I found out that she was talking to him as "friends only". She then told me the day before that she was going to have a girls day out but was really going with that friend. She told me that she was just wanting to see if she could have feelings for anyone else and if we were perfect. she lied to keep it away from me, but i feel as though she wanted to see if she could find someone else. I have been so good to her and thats why i dont understand why she would do this. Can you help and tell me what to do. thanks.

It is unfortunate that she couldn't trust you and tell you what she was doing.

Assuming that she found this other guy unattractive then my advice is to tell her that you always want to know what she is thinking and doing no matter how hurtful it might be.

So give her a second chance now that she knows she can trust you.
