Do I have a chance of getting him back?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 and a half years, like all relationships we had our fights and stuff but we always made up,and we were sooo close.Naturally we talked about when we were older like about marriage and stuff(i'm 18 and he's 20)but we've been talking about that kind of stuff for over a years now...2 weeks ago he broke up with me and told me that we should just be friends because we are rushing things and he said we were just not mature enough for that kind of stuff yet,but i'm confused,it's not like I wanted to run away and get married any time soon,as i've said,i'm only 18,there is soooo much that I want to do before hand,I don't plan on getting married until years down the road.i've tried emailing him and telling him how I felt but that didn't work...he emailed me back about a week after we broke up and he called me 2 days after that but he just wanted to know if I was having fun and stuff...I love him so much and I just want to fix things,do I have any chance of getting him back?and please, any tips are greatly appreciated, thanks

RomanceClass.com Advice
First tip is to maintain his friendship.

Call him (but not too much) to ask him how he is doing and to remind him that you care for him. Don't talk too much about the past and limit your calls to 15 mins or so.

Hopefully you will grow back together again.

Meanwhile try dating new guys so that you will have something else to think of and so your ex knows that you are not dependent on him.

Good luck! George
