Is she interested?

There is this girl i like, i have been flirting with her over the last few weeks, so she knows i am interested. Every time i go and speak to her, i always complement her and ask what her favourite things are and what her hobbies are, to try and get to know her better. The problem with this is that she only gives me one or two word sentences back and then there is silence. I do get closer to her and touch her, run my fingers through her hair and she doesnt mind that. She is also very quiet so making conversation is a bit difficult, but she is like that with her friends as well so that doesnt bother me. So my question is this, does she seem interested in me?....Is she shy?....If she is interested in me and shy, should i ask her out in the near future?

She may be too shy to say yes, but it's worth a shot.

The fact that she lets you run your fingers through her hair is the important clue that she likes you.

Having a conversation is often difficult so don't worry about that. If you two keep seeing each other, you will start talking more easily.
