I want him to be closer to me.

I have been dating this guy for about over a year now. Every time we seen to get close he seems to push my away. The feelings I have for him want go away. I have never felt close to any guy like I do him. He is the only guy I feel I can up and be myself to. what can I do to get him to not push me away? I want him to be closer to me.

Since he is afraid of closeness, you will have to slow down your efforts to get close to him. Reach out to him in small ways and pay close attention to how he reacts. If he is ok with it don't push too much for the time being but try the same thing the next day.

Warning: if he is resistant to becoming close you should consider moving on. Guys who can't get close are not a good think to risk your happiness with.
