I look up, she's staring

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
There's this girl in my street who I really like. But I don't know if she likes me. If I'm ever out in the yard or in the street washing my car and she walks or drives past, she won't even look at me, although it's obvious she can see me and knows I'm there and I'm even looking up so I can wave or say hello. But if I'm doing stuff outside and she happens to walk by or drive by without me noticing, and I just happen to look up all of a sudden, she's staring at me, and smiles. This isn't just a one off either, it's happened about ten times.

Whenever I notice her, I try to be friendly but she doesn't look, when I'm not aware of her presence and I look up, she's staring......so what's the go?....does she like what she sees or admiring or....*shrugs*

She's definitely interested in you.

What you have to do is to take some initiative. When she walks or drives by give her a friendly wave and smile. If she's walking then say hello and try to start up a conversation.

You didn't mention school, but the same story goes there. Say hi and smile at her.

So, it's up to you to start making some moves.
