Make a List of Good and Bad

Sit down and make a list of all the good points of your ex boyfriend or ex girlfriend. Then make another list of all the bad points. Any time you find yourself swaying towards hating him or her completely ... or fantasizing about how perfect things were ... refer to the lists. It's important to keep a balance. It's better that you are without that ex, but it wasn't a disastrous waste of time, either. It was a learning experience.
