Get In some Exercise
If your partner is the active type, studies have shown that physical exercise can release all sorts of anti-stress hormones into your blood system. People report feeling far less stressed after a good workout. So announce that it's walk time and head out for a long walk in the woods. Grab your bikes and just bike for a while. If your partner is more the gym type, head to the gym for an hour and work those muscles. Swim in the pool. You'll probably find that when the exercise is over and the sweat is washed away, so will a lot of the stress, too.
