Original Visitor's Question from a 13-20 year old Female
I like this guy. I've known him for awhile and we are pretty good friends but we never see each other or call each other...we just email about every other day. I want him to like me and he may but I dont know. I want to get closer to him but Im not aloud to go out or do ANYTHING! And he's now a freshman in college and works alot. I cant tell him how I feel because im too shy to make the first move into a relationship. Do you think therel's any hope?

User Submitted Advice from a 13-20 year old Male

my advice to you is that you try to stop thinking about this guy. it's going to be hard but u should give it a shot. instead you should focus on guys that are your own age. this is becasue guys who are older then you tend to be more mature. and they would excpect more from you. sometimes they arent doing it on purpose but they can put yourslef into uncomfortable positions. so why not right down a list of your excpectations in a guy. then go into your school and try to find a guy that can relate to most of your things. and then get to know eachtoher better. when you think that you want to go out someplace, dont sneak, ask your parents. i have learned from experiance that you will ALWAYS get caught. one way or the other. so ask your parents if you can go to the movies. or somewhere public. and introdue your guy to your parents to see if they approve. and to make it even easier on your parents suggest that you go with a couple other friends for the first few dates.prove youself responsible and your parents will find it hard to say no.

this is my advice to you. goodluck!
