Is it strange that I should be 30 and a virgin? I'm running into this problem now that I have time to (and feel more ready to) date that guys find this out and then they look at me like I have 6 heads.

Is it intimidating? I've been upfront whenever they ask and let them know that it isn't a marriage thing for me - but I've been focusing on lots of other things in my life and now feel more ready for a relationship. But I get a "wow, that's great...nice knowing ya!" kind of response.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Advice?
