Ways to Start a Conversation

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
This kind of falls into the "how do I ask someone out" question but it's a little different. There’s this girl who walks through my class everyday and I think I like her a lot but I can't talk to her. I’ve never talked to her before at all. All I can do is watch as she walks by. Everyday I say to myself that I’ll go up to her and say "hey" but I can't do it. I’m afraid that she'll think I’m weird for just randomly talking to her. How do I start a conversation without seeming strange? And she always has friends around and I think it would be easier if she were alone. I'm afraid I’ll sound stupid. I need a way to start up a conversation that seems natural so that I can become friends with her and then hopefully go out with her. What should I do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
In essence you want to flirt with her - somehow make contact with her without being too serious about it to start. I have lots of tips on flirting -

You can start with just eye contact and a smile, or ask her something about the lesson of the day, or find out what her hobbies are and ask her a real question about a hobby she has. It's the holidays so it's even easier. Say that you love the XXX she has on (sweater, pin, purse etc) and you want to buy one for your sister / cousin and could she please tell you where she got hers? That's both flattering and is asking her for help, which will make her feel good.
