Very Confused

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
There's a girl who I've been friends with since Freshman year in high school. Sophomore year I moved away and we didn't talk again until a few weeks ago, at the end of senior year. I saw her at a store and gave her my number. The next day she called and asked if I wanted to go to prom, and so we went. The first two weeks or so we talked at least once every other day, usually me calling her, but sometimes she'd call me, and we would talk for anywhere from one hour to three hours. We've been over to each others houses and watched movies too. She gave me a bunch of mixed signs, affectionate touches, flirting, etc. so I left her a note saying how I felt about her, and she emailed me saying that she thinks I'm cute, easy-going, etc. but she's been really stressed with college now, getting over an ex from junior year, and she asked if we could just be friends. I still get the feeling that she likes me though, and I'm very confused. Does she really like me, or is it just as a friend? Should I do anything more to try to get with her, should I be patient and maybe wait for her stress to be relieved and help her however I can with her ex? I don't want to annoy her or push her away, but it's hard just being friends when I really like someone like this. Hope you can help, and I hope this wasn't too long. I cut it down as much as I could, so if you need more details ask and I'll give you more!

RomanceClass.com Advice
She obviously likes you so that's where you begin.

Take advantage of this to have dates "as friends" and take walks or go on picnics, movies or bowling. Hang out.

All of this will draw her closer to you and if you can control your feelings, she won't feel pressured.

If it's meant to be it will happen.

Good luck! George
