What Gift should I Get My Girlfriend?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I want to surprise my girlfriend with a special gift that she'll really love. I want her to be surprised. What should I get her?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Different people have different expectations. If you open a door for someone, and they expect to have doors opened for them, you won´t get much appreciation. If she always expects flowers on her birthday, she'll be happy when she gets them, but not surprised. And she'll be furious if she doesn't get them ;) You have to figure out what they *personally* really want. If you bring someone a giant box of dark chocolates just because it's Friday, and that is their favorite kind of chocolate, then they´ll be pleased and surprised. Every person is different, both with what they think is 'expected' and also with what they personally love. Only *she* knows what she expects and what she doesn´t expect. Only *she* knows what she loves and what she hates! Why not talk to her about it, about what she really likes? Do it in a "If you were planning your ideal romantic weekend, what would it be like" daydreaming way. Remember, it all depends on her own individual tastes. If you surprise her with something she doesn´t like, even though some book or webpage claims "all girls want this", you won´t get much praise. But if you tap into her hidden desires, and track down something truly special for HER, she will never forget it!
