Does he like me or just consider me a best friend?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleHe is naturally very nice and open to any one. He is not what you would call a man whore. He is a big flirt like says hey sweet thing what's happening to alot of girls. The thing is around me he appears to be different. He is best friends with my ex. However, he thought that my ex was a jerk to me and told me that we should break up. He still wanted to hang with me. My ex found out that we were hanging out just as friends and i dont know if he started a rumor or not about us. But something was said to my best friend by her cousin that hangs with my ex and her dad that me and my guy friend were "talking"-something you do in fayetteville before going "steady". I confronted him about it and he said to you want to make them think that we are and of course i said YES! He is a jokster so i dont know if he is trying to play a joke or not. It is very confusing. And most people would say kind of talk to him about it. But i am scared to for fear of him not wanting to be my best friend anymore. It would not hurt me knowing that he did not like me like that..what would hurt me would be if he did not talk to me the same way....I am scared i want to know if he likes me but i don't want to lose his close friendship. He is great..he has all things..the great personality..great looks..he is brave and smart...and mostof all he treats me right! He is a true gentlemen that knows how to show a girl a great time with out being indecent. Does he like me? and should i confront him?

But don't confront him about it. You run a risk of him feeling awkward in your friendship. Wait and if he likes you he will make it clear.
