I Want My Ex Back:
Before you Talk to your Ex:
Play hard to get!

My girlfriend and I have been dating for about a year now... We've definitely had our hard times, and last night was surely one of the hardest. It started over a stupid comment, and eventually I told her that she was being very selfish. She kicked me out of her house (her parents were gone for the week), and truly hurt me. I ended up going to this hill not far from her house, the place where we first kissed. She texted and I told her that I would only talk if she came up to this hill to meet me, and that she would have to prove that she loved me to earn my trust back. I waited for over an hour on that cold hill, and she never came. The last text of the night from her said she was growing more and more apathetic about our relationship, and that she had nothing to prove to me. I went to bed wondering if this truly was the end of our relationship...

This morning, I went to work and tried not to think about her. On each of my breaks I would immediately run back to check my cell, but she never texted. I desperately wanted to text her, but something inside of me told me to wait. That's when I realized that I was way too clingy. I came home, jumped on facebook, texted and messaged other friends, but not her... And guess who called ME tonight?? Who went from apathy to non-stop text messages saying how she "doesn't deserve me" in just 24 hours time? Basically I realized one of the biggest problems she and I have been facing all along is that I'm too needy, too clingy. I am certainly not saying that anyone should neglect their boyfriend or girlfriend. Definitely show you care. But if you REALLY wanna see how much they care about you, pull back a bit, don't answer that one text message, and see what happens =)

And honestly I realize that its sad that we have to have some kind of "power" over the people we love in order to maintain a steady relationship. I guess that's just how the world works folks...

P.S. Thanks to all who have posted your accounts on this website, you've really helped me more than I can ever begin to explain...
