Last of the Mohicans
In Last of the Mohicans, Daniel Day Lewis plays a white man during the French-Indian war who is friendly with the last two members of the Mohican tribe. This is in the early 1700s, when the British still control the colonies. Two teenage girls from Boston come out to New York to meet up with their father, who is fighting in the conflict. Daniel falls in love with the eldest daughter, while the younger daughter falls for the young Mohican indian.
