Opal - October
Opal is October´s birthstone. It is a symbol of trust and confidence.
Opals first came from the Hungary region, but in modern days they are found all over the globe.
The name "opal" comes from the name "opalus", meaning "to see a change in color". You can see why that name applies to the stone that has many shades of color in it!
