Make a stuff box
Itīs tempting to set all of your joint possessions or left-behind items on fire, but resist that. Put them into a storage box, up into the attic or down in the basement. Forget about them for a while. In a few months, or a year or two, you may have a few fond memories you want to keep a hold of. The rest of the stuff can always go to the salvation army.
