Photograph your World

Just about everybody has a digital camera nowadays. You can take as many pictures as you want without worrying about film or processing. Go around for a little while each day and just take pictures of things you find interesting. It could be birds in your local trees, bits of architecture on the buildings around you, the way water glistens, the way the sun sets in different weather.

This will distract you and also remind you of just how the world continues to go on, that the world didn't stop because of this breakup. Look over the pictures you take and set it as your desktop background for the day, until the next day's results. It will be sort of a photographic journal as you go - and you can share your favorites with friends and family!
