Don't boost his ego any more
Chances are, he's feeling pretty powerful anyway. The last thing you want to do is tell him how brilliant he is and how much you can't live without his amazing self. It'll just show that he has the upper hand and no matter how he treats you, you'll come running back because to you, he is on a pedestal. It's good to to think that he is perfect but just don't let him know that!! xXx
