Frederic Chopin wrote some of the most beautiful, elegant and passionate music of all time. His nocturnes particularly will compliment any romantic meal. Try Nocture Op. 9 No. 2, a very recognisable yet beautiful piece. Many of the waltzes too make excellent background music, here I would recomend Op. 64 No. 2 and Op. 69 No. 1.
These are just general guidelines, you cant really go wrong with Chopin, so experiment with the ballades and the preludes too, have fun!
