That sounds like you both want to be together, but don't quite know how to make it work.

How old are you both? ~ that can affect things quite a bit.

we're almost exactly a yr apart.

You are the same ages my husband & I were when we met!

It sounds like you have work to do.

Either you could say that if you have broken up this many times, then you might as well forget it.

Or you can say that if that have made up again this many times, it might be worth saving.
