I'm so not a fan of dating.
all my friends are so into getting together, going out, having sex, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, you get the picture.

I have always prefered to be alone and I'm not a touchy-feely person, my friends hug me all the time and it's awkward. I dont know why. I like my space and I like being alone.

The thing is, all my friends are going out together all the time and there is no way i'm being the fifth wheel to them.

Plus, I love children and I really want to have a family some day, but it's hard to even like a guy, I am pretty picky and most of the one's i'd even like are friends and just friends.

I'm not interested in dating right now.. but i may want to in the future, and you know they say as you get older you have less and less of a chance, I don't want to lose out.

Hi Zookeeper smile
If you are happy as you are, then that's fine, isn't it?

Are you just worried about leaving it too late to have children?
I can understand that.
I don't know how old you are, but I have friends of 50 who have children under 5.

I think that I have become more 'touchy-feely' as I have got older.

I used to be like you, Zoo.
Friends would hug me and they said it was like hugging a tree. LOL.
I think some of that stuff comes from your home life, my parents where not very touchy/huggy parents.
Anyway if you don't want to be dating then don't be, there are no set rules for what age you have to date, I believe someone on this forum said they were 17 and never kissed a boy, and that is fine, people make a huge deal out of hit, it really isn't. You do what heart says is right and you will be happy. if you do what all you're friends are doing or what you think you are supposed to be doing but don't really want to , you won't be fair or true to yourself or others.

I am in my 30's and still single.
